The Maples, Woodland

My favorite moment from Kylie and Matt's wedding was during dinner. The couple was cuddled up on the couch behind their sweetheart table. They were cuddling, giggling, chatting and just absorbing the energy the guests were giving off.  {Note: this moment is captured here in their gallery}

Private Estate, Granite Bay

The thing I loved most about Brittany and David's wedding was how involved both of their families were in the planning process. The groom's family did all of the florals and provided all of the rentals. It was truly a family affair!

Chinquapin, Lake Tahoe

The forecast the week of Katie & Nolan’s wedding predicted a small chance of rain. We debated on getting a tent because rain in Tahoe can be spotty. Last minute we decided to tent the reception space. So come wedding day, it is threatening rain all day. Right before the ceremony we get a few drops, but it holds out. They have a gorgeous ceremony on the beach and cocktail hour on the boat dock just like we envisioned. So here comes the best part: the guests are coming up the stairs and the last guest steps inside the tent and what happens? IT DOWNPOURS!! And then their amazing DJ says to the guests "Give it up for Katie and Nolan for MAKIN’ IT RAIN!!!!". It was SO GOOD! I can't even begin to explain the uproar at that moment. It rained for no more than 3 minutes. But it was the kind of rain that would have RUINED everything. The tables. The chairs. The tableware. All of it. All the stress (and $$) was worth these three minutes. BEST MOMENT OF THE NIGHT!  {This moment is captured here in their gallery}

Park Winters, Winters

Gianna, Adam and I grew very close throughout the planning process. My favorite moment from their wedding was at the very end of the night. The couple came up to me, very sweaty from dancing, and they shared with me how much they appreciated everything I had done for them. We were all in tears and it's moments like this that truly make me love my job. {There is a photo here in the gallery of us in this moment}

The Hideout, Kirkwood

Claire and Dennis flew with most of their guests from the UK. It was important to them to honor their Scottish heritage so we incorporated it as much as possible. We were lucky enough to have a true Scottish bagpiper for their ceremony. My favorite moment from their wedding was when the bagpiper led the couple, their families and the wedding party into the reception.  {This moment is here in the gallery}

Park Winters, Winters

The thing I loved most about Nica and Patrick was how they stayed true to themselves. They chose to deviate from the norm and have a non-traditional wedding party. Nica had her Man of Honor who looked fabulous amongst all the ladies!

West Shore Cafe, Lake Tahoe

The most notable thing about Serin and Justin's wedding was that they got married in the middle of a snowstorm! But the thing I loved most was that EVERY SINGLE one of their guests showed up. No amount of snow was going to keep them from celebrating with the couple.

Squaw Creek, Lake Tahoe

From the first time I met Kelsey and Paige I knew they were special. The couple, as well as every member of their family, threw their arms around me and showed me so much love. On their wedding day, during Kelsey's speech, she asked all of the guests to turn to the person next to them and tell them what they loved about them and give them a hug. What an amazing moment to stand back and watch. There was SO much love in that room!

I believe that every wedding should be a direct reflection of you and your relationship with your partner. From these galleries you can see that I don't have a specific style when it comes to designing weddings. So what will we create next?
